Annie Get Your Gun

Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun” is told as Colonel Buffalo Bill Cody’s own personal version of the tempestuous and romantic story of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler. WEACT will present the show at Emporia High School August 10-12. The show features popular musical numbers, such as, “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better”, and “There’s No Business Like Showbusiness”.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Emporia Arts Council or at the door. $7 student and $10 adult tickets. Cash or check only the night of the show.

There will be a brief intermission between acts for attendees to purchase refreshments at our bake sale. All proceeds go to support future WEACT shows.

Shaping the Future

Shaping the Future is a magical, colorful, unique exhibition that showcases artwork from children from Emporia and surrounding communities. Show will be on display till July 29th.

Garden Week

Garden Week | July 18th – 21st

Join us next week by creating your own garden using art supplies! Learn how to create Sun Paper Art, Bottle Cap Flowers, Nature Suncatchers and more.

Barbara will be teaching the July Painting Party, learn how to paint a cactus while hanging out with friends.

Shaping The Future Entries

Entries for Shaping The Future are due this week, June 30th!

We want your art! Ages 5 – 18 years old are welcome to be apart of an amazing gallery exhibition. This show is for kids in Emporia and surrounding communities. Art created at home, school, camp or at EAC is welcomed!

TODAY! MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATRE!

Missoula Children’s Theatre and the Emporia Arts Council are so excited for this year’s production of “The Little Mermaid”! JUNE 19th – 23rd

Schedule for June 19th: ESU’s Albert Taylor Hall
Registration from 4:00 – 4:30pm @ front entrance
Auditions for The Little Mermaid from 4:30 – 6:30pm
Dinner Break (bring a sack lunch!!) from 6:30 – 7pm
First Rehearsal from 7:00 – 9:00pm

All students, 1st through 12th grade, are encouraged to audition! No advance preparation is necessary. Those auditioning should arrive 30 minutes early and plan to stay for the full two hours.
