Stairway To Zeppelin performs a show with visual effects and the latest in sound technology at low decibels with an unparalleled attention to a mix of the original recordings and live performances of the iconic Led Zeppelin. The charisma and musicianship in STZ is world-class bringing the goose-bump-excitement to the audience musically and visually.

The Emporia Arts Center announces a Call to Veteran Artists for an exhibition celebrating U.S. Veterans during Emporia’s annual Veteran’s Day Celebration.

Founded in 1964, Emporia Camera Club provides programs, instructions, and community to anyone interested in photography. They are always welcoming new members. For more information on how to become a member, contact the Emporia Camera Club through their Facebook Page.

The Flint Hills Artist Guild is a group of local artists of all mediums that meet every Wednesday at The Emporia Arts Center. They bring current individual projects they are working on while getting together with peers to create.

Annie Get Your Gun

Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun” is told as Colonel Buffalo Bill Cody’s own personal version of the tempestuous and romantic story of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler. WEACT will present the show at Emporia High School August 10-12. The show features popular musical numbers, such as, “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better”, and “There’s No Business Like Showbusiness”.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Emporia Arts Council or at the door. $7 student and $10 adult tickets. Cash or check only the night of the show.

There will be a brief intermission between acts for attendees to purchase refreshments at our bake sale. All proceeds go to support future WEACT shows.

Shaping the Future

Shaping the Future is a magical, colorful, unique exhibition that showcases artwork from children from Emporia and surrounding communities. Show will be on display till July 29th.
