The Emporia Arts Council is excited to present a new program, the Emporia Summer Explorer Log. This program is a partnership between EAC and local businesses and organizations providing information on fun activities for kids in Emporia and surrounding communities to enjoy this Summer!
What does this program entail?
The Emporia Summer Explorers is a collaborative, community-wide initiative designed to encourage youth and families to explore arts, culture, and enrichment opportunities throughout the summer months. By partnering with local organizations, businesses, and cultural institutions, the program fosters creative engagement, increases access to the arts, and strengthens connections between families and community resources.
Participants will receive a printed “Emporia Summer Explorer Log” that guides them to participating locations and events. At each stop, youth engage in a creative, educational, or arts-related activity and receive a stamp or sticker in their passport. Completed or partially completed passports will be entered into a drawing bi-weekly for a chance to win incentives, prizes, passes, etc. provided by organizations and businesses.
Get ready for double the adventure! We’ll be offering two Explorer Logs—one for June and one for July—each packed with unique activities to keep the fun going all summer long.
Be sure to check back often for updates on exciting prizes and additional details!
