EMPORIA, KS – The Emporia Arts Center invites you to the Artist’s Opening Reception for Viewing Emporia at the Trusler Gallery, located at 815 Commercial St., on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on display from January 10 to February 1, 2025.
Step back in time and experience the evolution of Emporia through this captivating display of history. The exhibit features historical images from the Lyon County History Center alongside photographs taken by members of The Emporia Camera Club, offering a unique comparison of Emporia’s past and present. Some familiar places have endured through the years, while others are now only memories, preserved in stories and images. Join us in celebrating Emporia’s rich history as we look forward to the future at the start of this New Year. Emporia always has a story to share
