It’s time to register for Chalk Fest!

Want to create a piece of artwork by only using chalk?! Well, now is your chance! You do not have to be an artist to participate in this family friendly event. Join in on the fun and let’s chalk up the entire 800 block of Commercial St.

CHALK FEST IS BACK!

After a 15 year absence Chalk Fest is coming back to Emporia on September 21st. EAC will be shutting down the 800 block of Commercial street. For one day and one day only to bring you this colorful and creative event!

What is Chalk Fest you may ask? Waaaaaay back in 2001 Emporia Arts Council got together and put together its first Chalk Fest – a day of creating images right on the street! Whether you choose to be a registered artist or just come down to look at the art being created it is sure to be a day of celebration! Art, Food Trucks, Live Music and Fun!!
