A nine-piece ensemble of world-class jazz artists from throughout the U.S. perform a collection of well-known Holiday favorites with a jazz twist. ATTENTION Veterans!

Are you a veteran or know a veteran that would like to be a part of our Veterans Glass Blowing Workshop that is happening this Friday? You will get a chance to work with glass blowing artist, April Lemon, and learn how to blow/form glass.

This is an amazing experience that we want you to be a part of! We only have 7 slots left! If you are interested contact Sarah Bulinski at sbulinski@emporiaksarts.org by Thursday.

Veterans Glass Blowing Workshop

The Emporia Arts Council is excited to announce our Veterans Glass Blowing Workshop with April Lemon!

As the founding city of Veterans Day, we Emporians take pride in honoring those that served our country. This year we will be adding something special – just an extra “thank you” to these Vets. We will be having an all out event with Kansas featured artist April Lemon. On November 3rd, Emporia Arts Center will be bringing her to our town! She will be working exclusively with Veterans (who have signed up with EAC) in her mobile glass unit.

It’s an all day event to honor those who have served, and we thought it only fitting to have April as she, herself, is a veteran. Come take in the fun, see art being made, have something yummy to eat and celebrate our Veterans! We will have food trucks and the Emil Babinger Art Mobile will be there as well.
