PreK: Snow Paint
1st – 5th Grade: Art Journaling
Middle School – Adult: Kansas Sunflower Tile
Adults: Open Studio with Nancy (Tuesdays!)

October 4th – 26th · Artist Reception, Oct. 4th 5-6 pm
Echoes of the Plains consists of mixed media sculptures that serve as visual memoirs, capturing abstract images of farmland and agricultural practices. Rooted from David’s autobiographical memories from his upbringing in rural Kansas, his sculptures reflect his experiences and environment.
David has been an advocate for art education – serving as a Kansas Artist-in-Education and teaching art in Emporia schools. In retirement, he continues to share his passion for ceramics through teaching classes at the Emporia Art Center and promoting art in the community.
