CHALK FEST IS BACK!
After a 15 year absence Chalk Fest is coming back to Emporia on September 21st. EAC will be shutting down the 800 block of Commercial street. For one day and one day only to bring you this colorful and creative event!
What is Chalk Fest you may ask? Waaaaaay back in 2001 Emporia Arts Council got together and put together its first Chalk Fest – a day of creating images right on the street! Whether you choose to be a registered artist or just come down to look at the art being created it is sure to be a day of celebration! Art, Food Trucks, Live Music and Fun!! Shaping the Future – A Young Artist’s Exhibition
We want to show your kids art to the community! Ages 4 – 18 years old are welcome to be apart of an amazing gallery exhibition! This show is for kids in Emporia and the surrounding communities. Art created at home, school, camp, EAC or anywhere else is welcomed!
